MR stands for movie review. This is my first ever movie review and it is on the the movie The Blind Side. This movie is based on the true story of Michael Oher #74 on the Baltimore Ravens. Michael or "Big Mike" grew up in a poor drug addicted family. Mike's dad had died and Mike had no real family because his mom was addicted to crack cocaine. One day as he was walking to a warm place to stay overnight, when the Tuohy family drove by. They see Michael walking alone in a t-shirt on a cold rainy night. The family knows Michael from their children's church school. They bring him home just for one night (or so they think) Michael ends up staying for a while. The family and Michael become attached and so they adopt Michael or become his "legal guardian." Michael learns how to play football and gets a full ride scholarship to any college -only if he can get his grades up. This is a feel good heart warming loving story about people doing the right thing. When you are through you just want to do somthing good for someone else. (Well thats how I felt.)
I loved this movie too. It definitely made me want to go out and help someone! Thanks for this excellent review of the movie.
